The Seabrook story

We have holidayed in Hope Cove since we were small children. We formed magical memories jumping off the breakwater, rowing to beacon beach (paddle boarding wasn’t a thing back then), body-boarding, swimming, playing cricket on ‘boat’ beach when the tide was out, skipping the waves, learning to skim stones, collaborating with new-found friends to build the dam-to-end-all-dams on ‘waterfall’ beach, chips in the Hope and Anchor, being taught to sail in Salcombe, rock climbing ‘Barney Bank’, burying each other in sand, learning the true art of a good sand-castle, surfing on Bantham beach, long walks (with THE best views) along the coast and estuary, feeling sick after sampling every flavour of ice-cream, and buying pasties from the Post-office stores to fuel our day-long adventuring. We thought we were the modern day Famous Five!

We want to share these special memories with our children. We’ve owned Seabrook for well over a decade and done exactly that. And now we want to share it with family and friends too. We’ve completely renovated the whole building to create our perfect family and friends holiday space. We think it’s pretty special. We hope you like it to. Go make memories x
